I became a trainer after losing 80 pounds, initially focusing on being skinny until a personal trainer introduced me to muscle gain, sparking my love for fitness. I got into running, completed a half marathon, and became a trainer in 2013, coaching until 2020 before taking time off due to personal setbacks. After prioritizing my mental health, I reignited my passion, got recertified in 2024, and started training again. In March 2025, I took the leap and bought Hanford Cali Fitness—now here we are, building a stronger community together!
Fitness found its way into my life approximately 20 years ago. I’ve always struggled with my weight and I live sharing things that work for me with others along their fitness journey! I became a certified fitness trainer 8 years ago when I fell in love with Hanford Cali Fitness and knew it would be my forever gym home. I love helping people and encouraging them to just be better versions of themselves!
“It’s only after you’ve stepped outside of your comfort zone that you begin to change, grow, and transform.” ~Roy T. Bennett
I've always enjoyed exercise. I feel that it helps with my stress level and keeps me fit. I was a 4th grade teacher before I had kids and now I'm an empty nester with time to do things I enjoy. Encouraging others is one of my favorite things to do. If you are ever in class with me you will probably hear, "We've got this!!" I also love to give celebratory high fives after class.
Fun Fact: I play Pickleball and my nickname is Happy Feet.
I’ve never thought I would be a trainer. Or should I say sub trainer . But I enjoy it. I love to workout especially seeing & feeling the difference in myself. I’m a full time hairstylist so making someone feel amazing about themselves is already part of my job. This is why I enjoy working out and Sub training at Cali Fitness.
Fun fact: Since an early age, I’ve always wanted to Skydive .. I finally did it 3 years ago at age 39 years old with my husband.
Health and fitness have become such important aspects in my life and sharing those with others gives me so much joy. Watching client’s hit their goals and continue to push forward is very rewarding.
Fun Fact: Being a client myself sparked my interest in becoming a trainer. The community we have is truly the best!
